Lunch costs for 2022-2023:
On March 17, 2023, Governor Walz signed the MN Free School Meals bill into law. The MN Free School Meals Program is a permanent program that provides funding so that all students can have one breakfast and one lunch at no cost at school.
Even so, it is important for families to complete the Application for Education Benefits. Applications for Education Benefits determine how much funding your child's school receives for educational programs and support. Additionally, eligible families can qualify for other benefits, such as
- free or reduced athletic or activity fees within the district
- WIC Benefits
- Metro Transits' Transit Assistance Program
- FCC affordable connectivity program/ reduced price internet programs
- Some summer camps, athletics programs and/ or childcares offer scholarships or discounts
Please help the district reach our goal of 100% completed forms. A students eligibility status helps generate other funds provided by the State.
